Xiaomi Redmi A3 snapshot goes viral; bigger screen, round camera, and nice features
The company seems ready to announce the Xiaomi Redmi A3. Before the information was released, snapshots of the new product appeared, allowing for a closer look at the device ahead of its launch. GSMArena covered the leak and revealed everything about the design of the phone.
Compared to the previous two generations, the Redmi A3 is light years ahead in terms of design. The phone has a large 6.71-inch display on the front, which marks a significant increase in screen size. The design of the camera island was also changed and a circle similar to the Realme 11 Pro series was adopted.
In previous events, details of the Redmi A3 screen, which uses an HD + LCD panel with a 90Hz refresh rate and a maximum brightness of 400 nits, were mentioned. The imaging setup includes a 13MP main camera and an 8MP selfie camera, offering consumers a value-for-money option.
Under the hood, the Redmi A3 will be powered by an unnamed MediaTek processor paired with 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB eMMC 5.1 storage. Xiaomi’s new budget phone offers virtual RAM expandable up to 4GB and comes with a microSD card slot for additional needs.
To power the device, a 5000mAh battery unit will be used to ensure long-term use, even supporting 10W charging. Connectivity features include dual SIM support, 4G compatibility, WiFi 2.4 GHz, Bluetooth 5.0, and support for multiple network bands.
Redmi retains some of its classic features, retaining the 3.5mm audio jack and using the USB Type-C port for charging. With the upcoming launch of the Redmi A3, buyers can look forward to an affordable option that doesn’t compromise on display or performance.
