Tecno has debuted its latest offering, the Camon 30 series, featuring the standout Camon 30 Pro model equipped with three impressive 50 MP cameras.

Tecno Camon 30 Pro 5G

Mirroring its Premier counterpart, the Tecno Camon 30 Pro 5G also boasts the potent Dimensity 8200 Ultra chipset. Notably, it retains the same 50MP 1/1.56-inch sensor on the primary camera, complete with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), along with a 50MP ultrawide lens and a 50MP selfie camera featuring autofocus. However, the 3x periscope lens has been replaced by a 2MP depth sensor.

While lacking an LTPO screen like the Premier, the Pro model still impresses with its stunning 6.78-inch display and a swift 144Hz refresh rate, boasting a resolution of 1,080 x 2,436 pixels.

Powering the device is a robust 5,000mAh battery with 70W fast charging capabilities, on par with the Premier. Additionally, users can enjoy Dolby Atmos stereo speakers and an infrared transmitter positioned at the top.

The Tecno Camon 30 5G ditches the Dimensity 7020 chipset in favor of the 930, primarily due to the former’s incapability to support a 6.78-inch display with a 144Hz refresh rate, settling for a still impressive 120Hz on its FHD+ AMOLED panel.

Despite the chipset switch, the device maintains a noteworthy 50 MP selfie camera with autofocus and dual-color flash. On the rear, the main camera with a 50MP sensor (1/1.57) now incorporates optical image stabilization, albeit lacking an ultrawide display, instead featuring a pair of lower-resolution lenses.

Retaining several premium features from higher-end models, the Camon 30 5G boasts a 5,000mAh battery with 70W fast charging support and Dolby Atmos stereo speakers, including an infrared remote control.

Tecno Camon 30

Sharing similarities with its 5G counterpart, the Tecno Camon 30 utilizes the Helio G99 chipset and exclusively offers 4G connectivity. Its 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display also operates at 120Hz, while maintaining the same 5,000mAh/70W battery setup and Atmos-enabled stereo speakers.

Regrettably, the camera setup remains unchanged across all models, featuring a 50MP autofocus lens with flash on the front and a 50MP OIS lens on the back.

All three models are available in two variants, distinguished by either a glass back or a vegan leather back.
